Pennington Bay Sunrise

Pennington Bay is one of Kangaroo Island’s many hidden treasures and since it is so seldom visited,(except for keen surfers) it makes for the ideal place to sit back and wait for sunrise.

I spent some time here when visiting Kangaroo Island during the fires of 2020, and captured a number of images including this one, just before the smoke from the fires drifted up to this part of the island.
